The Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation (NWBSN) values open communication and respectful dialogue with our partners and the broader community. Recently, a tribal member, Darren Parry, shared personal views publicly. We wish to clarify that these comments do not represent the official voice or position of the NWBSN.

As with many sovereign tribal nations, the NWBSN speaks through designated representatives to ensure accuracy, unity, and respect for our cultural and governmental processes. We kindly ask that organisations and media outlets reach out directly to the Tribe when seeking official statements or perspectives.
